Here at Glass Installations we are pleased to be accredited by the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). CHAS was created by experienced health and safety professionals in 1997 to improve health and safety standards throughout the UK.

What does CHAS mean for our customers?

CHAS is a widely known Government body that examines our Health and Safety procedures.  The application and renewal process involved an independent examination of how we prepare our working method statements and risk assessments to ensure that we have the procedures in place to ensure full safety to our customers and the members of the public.

By having the CHAS accreditation it improves our business and we appreciate the value it brings to us, our customers and our team.  It ensures that we are meeting all health and safety obligations that are set out by law.

The process of becoming CHAS accredited involved completing multiple health and safety questionnaires, submitting evidence of our compliance to many aspects of health and safety.  Our submission was then processed through an appointed CHAS assessor who confirmed that we met the very strict but required criteria.

By having this accreditation, you can rest assured that we work in a safe and professional manner at all times.
