Once again Glass Installations have been approached to manufacture bespoke large scale foil mirrors for the film industry!
Sarcophagus Films Ltd asked us to produce a large foil mirror for The Mummy film which is currently being filmed at the famous Shepperton Studios, Middlesex.
The new film is screenwritten by Jon Spaihts and produced by Alex Kurtzman. Tom Cruise stars alongside Sofia Boutella, Annabelle Wallis, Jake Johnson and Courtney B. Vance, in the new cinematic version of the Mummy.
Plot Summary
Thought safely entombed in a crypt deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient queen whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.
From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.
The film is set for release on 9th June 2017.
Featherweight Foil Mirrors for the Film Industry
Our specialist manufacturing team have produced a huge Featherweight Foil Mirror, measuring a whopping 6m in length and 1.83m in width. It will be used to create spectacular special effects in the production of the new film. Filming will take place at the backlot at Shepperton Studios.

They are also extremely popular as overhead and ceiling mirrors, perfect for suspending overhead to produce some mind-blowing effects. Our manufacturing process allows production of single panels up to 2m in width and up to 8m in length!
