Here at Glass Installations we always welcome a challenge and the chance to produce something that little bit different! Contractors McLaughlin & Harvey approached us with a slightly unusual specification as part of their latest project at Kelvin Hall, Glasgow. We were asked for backlit vanity mirrors with a decorative back painted glass splashback. The end result was an eye catching halo effect.
Following on from our previous post on Kelvin Hall, Glasgow (see here for the original post), it is always great to see our products in their full glory. When we received photos of one of our latest back painted glass installations and backlit mirrors, we just had to share them! The orange back painted glass was chosen to complement the orange colour scheme used throughout the Leisure Centre.
Backlit Mirrors with Glass Splashback
Another addition to our specialist mirror range are backlit mirrors. These offer a mix of practical mirrors with convenient lighting, whilst producing an inviting, attractive display. In order to enhance the effect further, back painted splashback panels can be installed to bespoke specifications. As a result, both elements work together to create spectacular effects!

As part of our bespoke services, we are able to match the exact RAL colour to co-ordinate with each individual project. Back Painted glass is an up to date option for splashback panels for WC and kitchen areas.
