Our installation team have once again been working hard fitting a large run of dance studio mirrors at Derby University’s new Sports Centre.  We were approached by construction company GF Tomlinson, to install our specialist dance mirrors measuring over 14m in length and 2.5m tall, into the new state of the art £10.8m sports centre.  The new build has been designed to be cleverly tucked into an embankment which required 18,000 tons of soil to be removed from the site.  It is designed be visually appealing with a green curved roof and has been built within the existing grass bank, minimising its visual impact on the environment.

Specialist Dance Mirrors Installed Into New Dance Studio

The impressive facilities at the new sports centre will include eight badminton courts, a sports hall,  a gym furnished with the latest equipment, a dance studio, squash courts and a climbing wall. Our Image “6” dance studio mirrors were installed into the dance studio combining both style and safety, which met the specification of  the architects whist staying within budget.  These Image “6” specialist dance  mirrors are safely fixed into position using our popular and attractive polished aluminium “J” trim system, which eliminates the need for unsightly screws, as well as providing a high quality image reflection.
