Yet another installation using decorative back painted glass, this time for a new office development in Waybridge.  We have worked for McLaughlin & Harvey on a number of projects over the last few years.  This most recent project included a number of decorative back painted glass panels within the washrooms and WC areas.

Using Decorative Back Painted Glass to Achieve Stunning Effects

Firstly, our installers fitted 6mm silvered vanity mirrors into the recess which housed the modern wash basins.  As per the customers specification, we manufactured the back painted glass in a champagne colour. Our installers then fixed the decorative back painted glass to the side and top panels to frame the wash basin area, whilst the clever placing of lighting enhanced the overall effect.

Why Use Back Painted Glass?

For many reasons, back painted glass is becoming increasingly popular as an alternative wall covering.  Here at Glass Installations, we use 6mm low iron glass to manufacture the back painted glass, this reduces colour distortion and ensures the glass gives a clear vibrant colour.   It is also hygienic and easy to clean, prefect for bathrooms, kitchens, wash areas and more!  A sleek, contemporary finish as achieved with minimal maintenance required.
