Our sales team are frequently asked if it is possible to fit mirrors onto curved walls. A recent installation carried out at Inverness College on their new Beechwood Education & Research Campus shows how this is possible.
Mirrors on a Curved Wall – How do we do it?
Using 2″x 2″ timber framework and MDF panels, the walls were boarded out by our installation team to create facets to accept our Image “18” mirror system. The mirrors were then fixed to this using our bespoke system which is fully framed using the “J” carrier fixings. There are no visible screw fixings and the image reflection quality remains as good as with flat wall fixing methods. The remaining timber framing on show can be painted by the customer to match decor if required.
Inverness College New Campus
In addition to two runs of faceted mirrors, Inverness College also requested two further runs of high impact gym mirrors. To coordinate with the curved mirrors, our top of the range Image “18” Mirrors were fitted into the new sports facility.

After a few finishing touches, the new campus will be to opening it’s doors for the new term in the autumn.
