Another recent installation of dance and gym mirrors and barres, at the new Holly Hill Leisure Centre in Fareham. The fantastic new sports facility, which will be managed by Everyone Active, features a 25m pool with six lanes, a learner pool, a fully-equipped gym, an exercise room and a dance studio.
The new £8m leisure centre has been constructed by Balfour Beatty, on the old Coldeast Hospital site at Salisbury Green. As well as the leisure centre, two new junior football pitches will be created, a new play area and a multi-use games area. There is also a large area of land on the site that supports woodlands and meadows, a pond and an orchard.
As per the specification, our installations team fitted over 20m in total of our Image 6 Mirror System in to the dance studio, complete with a custom fit double tier barre. The barre was installed slightly differently than our usual mirror and barre system, as per the customer’s request. The barre brackets were fixed to the wall through cut outs in the mirrors, as an alternative to having a backing board for them to fixed onto. Instead of using our double tier brackets, the customer also preferred to have single tier brackets for both top and bottom barre. We always like the challenge to work with customers own ideas and designs, working closely to maintain a high level of workmanship and service.
Yet more Image 6 Mirrors were installed into the gym and spin studio. Along with a number of safety backed vanity mirrors installed into the changing areas.
Holly Hill Leisure Centre is due to open to the public later this month.
