Established London based design company Tom Dixon Design Studios have used Glass Installation’s new Featherweight Foil Mirrors in an exciting new project, redesigning luxury fashion retailer Joseph’s flagship London store. The store is located on the prestigious fashion district of Old Bond Street, Mayfair.
Two Featherweight Foil Mirrors, measured 8m x 2m, were manufactured and transported by the Glass Installations team. The mirrors were then installed horizontally, one on top of the other, to cover the whole back wall of the store, from floor to ceiling. They are the largest mirrors to be manufactured by the company to date.
The mirrors give the impression of the store having a continuous, infinite space due to the perfect clarity of the one piece mirrors. It has fulfilled the designer’s objective of creating an innovative retail space, as well as a unique talking point.
