The new Cotlandswick Leisure Centre in St. Albans has recently opened it’s doors to the public.  Glass Installations were asked by contractors Willmott Dixon, to manufacture and install over 22 linear metres of high impact gym mirrors.  These were fitted into the 60 station gym and exercise studio.  A range of safety backed vanity mirrors were also installed into many of the changing rooms, washrooms and WCs.

The all new Leisure Centre includes a 60 station fitness gym,  a single court sports hall that can accommodate a variety of activities, an exercise studio, male and female dry changing rooms, synthetic turf pitches, children’s play areas and a cafe bar.

Image “18” High Impact Gym Mirrors

Our Image “18” High Impact Gym Mirrors were chosen to be installed into the gym and exercise areas.  Designed and constructed with safety and style in mind, they incorporate an impact resistant cushioner and a cross-linked class A safety backing.  If the mirror was to break it would break cleanly with no shards or slivers and remain intact.  The Image “18” mirrors are installed mechanically using our purpose made polished Aluminium “J” carriers and mirror adhesive. This avoids the use of unsightly screws and results in a more secure fixing method, as well as a more aesthetically pleasing image and a high quality image reflection.
