We were recently contacted by the production team at the BBC to supply them with a large number of our featherweight foil portable mirrors for the opening performance of  live final of The Greatest Dancer.

The Greatest Dancer is a show that enables dancers of any age and ability to perform with the chance to showcase their performance on the Strictly Come Dancing stage and win an amazing £50,000. The show allowed every style of dance imaginable, from dance troupes, to solo performances, from professionally training dancers to amateur dancers – giving .

The dance captains for the competition where very popular singer Cheryl, broadway star, Matthew Morrison and Latin American dancer, Oti Mabuse. The trio were mentoring the 9 acts that made the next stage of the competition.

Once we received the phone call from the producers at the BBC we set the our manufacturing team to assemble the mirrors for the show.  We worked tirelessly to get the mirrors made and delivered in the short timescale that we were given in time for the rehearsal in preparation for the live final.  Our team delivered and set the mirrors up for the

The live final took place on Saturday 23rd February with the opening performance by Cheryl, Matthew and Oti taking place with our mirrors on the stage.

The three dance captains were then joined on the stage by the final performers to complete the opening dance. The dancers went on to perform their final pieces before Ellie, a 14 year old contemporary dancer from Scotland stole the show and won the title of The Greatest Dancer.
