Clients and contractors all come to us with different requirements and priorities. We have developed our products to suit various conidtions. Health and Safety
We don’t discriminate between our range of wall fitted mirror products when it comes to the safety. Our glass mirrors are available in two specifications – Image “6” Mirrors and Image “18” Mirrors. Please see the individual product pages for the specifications.
Both Image “6” and Image “18” are fixed with unique cross woven class A safety backing, the latter is also fitted with a 12mm thick impact absorbing cushioner which can be fitted to non-plastered walls eliminating the necessity for cladding sheet materials. All members of our installation team are specialists, they are trained in health and safety, are CSCS card holders, CRB checked (for schools), have all completed mirror installation training and have combined over 35 years plus experience in the mirror industry. We chose to back all Image Mirrors with Class “A” Safety backing which allows designers, architects and contractors the confidence in our safety mirrors, so much confidence that should the end user (be it local authorities, schools, shops or gymnasiums) have an accident the glass will break cleanly with no shards or slivers and remain completely intact.
Health and safety in our mirror design is of utmost importance from manufacture to fitting. Many mirror installations make use of either mirror adhesive or screws only. The design of Image Mirrors is the creation of a wall fitted mirror with uniform visual quality without compromising on health and safety, we avoid noticeable mirror screw fittings that weaken the mirror which is the case of many breakages. For both Image “6” mirrors and Image “18” we install purpose made polished Aluminium “J” carriers to the perimeter of the mirror (mechanical fix) which are screw fixed to the wall, the mirror fits into the frame and is adhered to the wall with mastic. This also leaves the mirrors completely vandal proof.

Our Image Mirror system is suitable for almost any project where glass, wall fixed mirrors are required. Our usual installations are within dance studios, gymnasiums and schools, but as posture mirrors they are suited to fashion outlets, retail and for shop mirrors.
