Just recently we’ve been fitting wall mounted ballet barres a plenty! Our installation team have been busy at Surrey University, working within the GSA dance studios, and the Ivy Arts Centre. Our fitters installed over 300m of beech wall mounted ballet barres into 6 of the 15 the purpose built dance studios. As a leading facility offering the very best academic dance training, Surrey University asked us to install a huge number of our Image 18 ballet barres. A total of 156m of double tier solid beech ballet barres were installed into their impressive studios.
Wall Mounted Ballet Barres
For over 30 years Surrey University has been offering a specialised academic dance degree. As a result, only the very best equipment and facilities are required for their studios. We manufacture our wall fixed ballet barres with purpose made, polished stainless steel brackets, as well as a polished 50cm diameter beech barre. The brackets and barres are then fixed to a polished beech backing board which complement the wood of the barres. Furthermore, they are installed by our own experienced team, this ensures only the very best in quality, style and craftmanship. Flexibility of use is achieved and all types of training are catered for due to the double tier barre height.
Surrey University Dance Studios
Surrey University is the home of the Guildford School of Acting. It boasts an impressive 15 dance studios in which performers can train. Most of these include sprung floors, mirrors and double tier ballet barres. The Ivy Arts Centre is a modern performing arts facility, which includes a 200 seat theatre, and a dance studio.
We wish the students well with their dance training and studies when they return to the university in the new academic year.
