Just a stones throw away from our work unit in Tunstall, the team installed a contemporary back painted glass splashback in a residential property.
Glass splashbacks can be used in bathrooms and kitchens as a modern alternative to tiles. The beauty of back painted glass is that it can be matched to any RAL colour which allows it to be coordinated to any decor.
The painted surface is on the back of the low iron toughened glass so it allows the areas to be easily cleaned without the risk of any damage being caused. We use 6mm toughened glass with a low iron content as the low iron provides the best brightness with no colour distortion.
With accurate measuring it allows us to manufacture the profile of the glass to suit the position of the plug sockets and the profile of the cupboards above.
